Our Manhattan Pop-up studio! May 2-4, 2014

Workroom Social Manhattan Pop-up - Workroom Social - Sewing and Screen Printing Studio in Brooklyn, NY

I’m super excited to announce that Workroom Social is coming to Manhattan for one weekend only! Join us May 2-4 at 37 East 1st Street (between 1st and 2nd Avenues) for a weekend of fashion sewing workshops, fabrics, and fun!

You can find details of the day on our Pop-up page or on our Eventbrite page, which is where all the registrations can be completed.

We’ve got some really fun workshops lined up for our pop-up studio, including…

Not interested in a formal workshop, but want to sew anyway? Sign up to come hang out and sew with me! Bring your own project and work independently on our equipment. Chat with other sewing enthusiasts like yourself. This is a great opportunity to ask me and other attendees about that sewing snafu you just can’t quite figure out, or to see how others work. We can all benefit from a little collaboration!

And to celebrate our Manhattan Pop-up location, we are throwing a fun and festive Sewing Swap Meet & Party on Saturday, May 3 at 8:00 p.m. Remember my blog post about how awesome the sewing community is? Here’s your chance to get involved! Come meet and mingle with other sewing and fabric fanatics like yourself. Bring fabric, sewing patterns, notions, or other sewing items to swap with new friends. Good times and refreshments will be provided! RSVP early before our party sells out!
